American Durafilm operates out of all company-owned facilities that are tailor-made for our specific processes. With so much care put into our custom capabilities, we ensure that our production spaces are equally special. We take great care to ensure that our production facilities have every requirement necessary to provide the highest quality products and services to our demanding customers. Our corporate policy of continuous improvement ensures that our facilities keep pace with the increasing requirements from our medical, military, biopharmaceutical, bakery, and industrial markets.

Class 10,000/ISO 7-Rated Clean Room

Serving the most demanding industries requires an enhanced dedication to product quality. To this purpose, we have 2,000 square feet of professional clean room area used in the fabrication of products when cleanliness is critical in the end use. Some of the steps taken to keep products clean are:

  • Material cleaned when entering the room
  • Operators wear full attire to ensure certification is maintained
  • Static eliminators throughout production and gowning areas
  • Finished parts packed and sealed for cleanliness before leaving the clean environment

Why Cleanroom?

With our expanded clean room operations, we can continue to provide products of the highest quality, while paying the greatest attention to the environment under which these critical components are manufactured. To further ensure that the products manufactured are of the highest quality, American Durafilm has employed the use of a material cleaning system to ensure that all materials being used in the process are as clean as possible. Furthermore, the company has developed a packaging system in which the final product is sealed in a clear poly bag to protect the clean products through shipment so that the customer gets a product of the highest possible cleanliness.

Typical products include:

  • Teflon® Bags
  • Kapton® Bags
  • Overwrap Bags
  • Intubated Bags
